Run 35 min= 4.7 miles,

Felt light heading out and realised after a few minutes that my feet were setting the pace.  I put my head down and concentrated on the run, arms pumping, strong legs, controlled movement.  Thought I was running at least 7:30′s on a still day.  Got to the mid point on Nimmo’s Pier in a disappointing 18 minutes (good runs in the past got me here in 16:30-17:30), turned around and ran straight back into a 25mph wind.  Must have been pushing me directly on the way out, but I didn’t feel it at all.  Decided that I felt good enough to insist on a negative split, pushed harder and came in around 16:45, which is pretty damned good as that equates to 7 minute miles on the way back. Animal.

I took yesterday off as I was feeling the toll of 4 runs in 7 days.  I did do 2 sets of planks etc though.

Hill walking this afternoon, hence the short run.
