Ran my short run outbound, got to the mid-point in 18 minutes, so pretty solid, considering it was due to be a longer run. Decided to run on to Salthill and try to push on a little further than my 8.5 miles run a while back. Ran on as far as the diving board, struggled to get my tracksuit bottoms off, took a sip from the tap on the wall and headed back. Didn’t have any of the usual fatigue on the way back, stayed strong, head up. Got back to the mid-point of my short run, and then ran home from there in 18:45, not bad considering.
I’m pretty pleased with that run, I don’t feel exhausted or sick. A good solid run at 8:15 pace.
