3 sets of planks.
4.7 miles in 35:25 = 7:30 minute miles.
That was my first back-to-back run in at least a week. I was going to run further, but I set out pretty hard. As always I have problems reading my damned watch, so though I am counting that I hit the mid-point in 17m 30s it may have been 16m 30s. I was really flying on the way out, a good frame of mind after meaningful, positive conversations with both my Bro and my Girl. Clearly my positive state of mind improved my run.
I guessed that when I got back to my house I wouldn’t want to do the extra 1.3 miles and I told myself that I had done 3 sets of planks before heading out and that my stomach was (is) still suffering from the oversized steak I ate two days ago.
I might try a 6 miler tomorrow, that’ll bring me up to a total of 1 run every second day since I got back from Gambia.
My ‘nads’ have really chaffed from all this running and I’m sore all the time. I’ve run longer and harder and this has never really happened before.
