The story: Just an insanely beautiful day. 65 and sunny. Had to go for a run. The wind kicked up and all of a sudden I was running into a stiff wind. Didn’t care… just enjoyed the run. Hit the turnaround in 34 minutes. Slowed a bit on the return trip, but still felt great. Made it home in 69 minutes. Awesome run!
I am excited thinking about you getting back to the Canyon for a big run! I would consider taking a cheapy pair of snow shoes for the possibility of snow on the North Rim. A great adventure. I can still visualize means of the sections of those trails, our ‘coldwater’ retreat, the start of the ascent on the North Rim. I’d almost want to be there to hand you out water and food at Ghost Ranch…
